Kestrel

I don't know whether this kestrel had been having a bad few days or whether it was just tame, but it was so intent on hunting that it was utterly unconcerned by the picnickers, dog-walkers, photographers and other passers by. It seemed to be after large beetles in the undergrowth. Here is a shot just as it spied one.
