Ring Necked Parakeet
One of the ubiquitous ring necked parakeets in Bushy Park one autumn afternoon. Native to the highlands of Pakistan, these birds - probably originally escapes from a private collection -have successfully made their home in the Thames Valley and are increasingly common.
