Rufous-chested dotterel
Most of the birds on the Falklands were so tame that it was almost a relief to encounter something which presented a bit more of a photographic challenge. The dotterels were inquisitive - but kept their distance making it harder to get a decent shot. This was a failry early morning encounter on a rather overcast day.
