Ring Necked Parakeet

These noisy green birds are more common than sparrows in Bushy Park and the surrounding area, however, since they like to stay high up in trees, they are surprisingly hard to get a camera on to. I took this shot from the Thames Path just beyond Hampton Court on a gloriously sunny autumn afternoon.
