The Quantum Tiger would like to say a big thank you to all those who have inadvertantly assisted in the creation of this site - but he's not going to, so I'll say it for him. Thanks go out to all those who have acompanied me on my many walks, and introduced me to interesting and intriguing places.

I am extremely grateful to the many producers of free software which have enabled the production and maintenance of this site. Particular mention should be given to PHP, MySQL, Notepad 2, and FileZilla (ftp software). In addition to the free stuff, I have also appreciated the sheer delight that is Adobe Photoshop Elements. If only all commercial software were this easy to use! Also very grateful to United Hosting for their high quality UK web hosting and fabulous customer service.

Recent Site History

08 Jul 2009Added a new Slideshow page to feature YouTube content
22 Feb 2009Major change to way that site handles URLs to allow full text URLs for all pages
09 Feb 2009Minor changes to make it easier to buy images from Photobox. Removed Going Up traffic monitor as this significantly slowed the site down. It's much faster again now.
20 Dec 2008Added the ability to vote for images. Just a bit of fun really!
25 Sep 2008Added 36 more images from my Falklands trip

The Quantum Tiger is much the same as an ordinary tiger, except that he is virtual and doesn't really care about exactly where he is or how fast he is moving. A distant relative of Schrödinger's cat, although he would be a tad more dangerous if you met him in a dark alley. At this particular point in time, however, the Quantum Tiger is feeling mellow and well fed. If you ask him very nicely he may just collapse his waveform long enough to share some of his digital wares.
