
Goldfinch
There must be a law about birds and hides - I see far more birds behind bird hides than from them. This is one of about eight goldfinches that tantilised me for a good half hour, flitting around in the shade. They seem to have a genius for getting branches between their head and my lens. This one finally obliged by coming out into full view in the sunlight
